CDS provides comprehensive residential services to people with developmental disabilities in a caring and supportive environment focused on the unique needs and preferences of each individual.  We provide individual support to each of our residents.

CDS' quality homes and apartments are located in villages, cities and suburban neighborhoods throughout Monroe and Wayne Counties.   All of our residences provide staffing support and assistance in daily living.

CDS supports individuals in achieving their personal dreams in their new home and in the community through carefully developed person-centered plans.  Services are individualized and include home-based clinical supports, nursing services, transportation, and leisure activities.  Individuals can decorate, paint and arrange their rooms to fit their personal taste.

- Services are provided to adults with developmental disabilties- 18 years of age and up
- Specialized homes provide supports to people with hearing impairments and autism
- Residences are located in the community with opportunities to become involved in recreational, employment, and neighborhood activities
- All apartment locations provide individual apartments with one or two bedrooms, living room, full kitchen and accessible bathrooms
- CDS continues to work closely with individuals and their families to develop new residences
