CDS recognizes the fundamental need to be creative that exists in every person. At Creative Opportunities, individuals learn daily living tasks that promote independence, and hone skills such as problem solving and communication. Daily outings and volunteer opportunities provide community participation. We are continually seeking new ways to improve learning and enrichment for the individuals we support.
Individuals in the Creative Arts Program are given the tools and help they need to bring creation to ideas. Rooms are designated for sensory & tactile expression. Our facilities, Day Habilitation rooms, offices and hallways feature much of the creative work our individuals produce daily through various activities involving self expression.
CDS is always thinking of ways to provide creative expression through therapy and unique programming that benefits the individual.
