CDS began over 30 years ago by a group of parents whose goal was to ensure quality services would always be available for their children.

Thank you to all of the donors, sponsors and bowlers for making "Strikes for Abilities", the 3rd annual CDS Foundation Bowling Party, a success, grossing more than $14,000 for unfunded health, wellness & recreation program.

Thank you to our sponsors:  Greater Rochester Housing Partnership, North Forest Office Providers, Base is Loaded, Monroe Roadways, JHCC Construction, Acro Industries, Mark & Kathi Peterson, College Bound Sealers, East Ridge Printing, Barone Law Offices, Mass Mutual, Doug Patnode Enterprises, Zweigles, Inc., Sankar & Yvonne Sewnauth, k2 Communications, Rochesterpropertysource.com, and Marion Ullrich.

Thank you to the committee and event volunteers: Karen Warden, Jaclyn Cook, Sharon Vito, Maria Basaman, Justin Mirando,  Karyl Zoyack, Betty Karins, and Chris Ryan.

CDS President & CEO, Sankar Sewnauth commented, "We are so grateful for the Foundation and the opportunities they are able to provide all at CDS."

Sankar initiated a new challenge called the "Strike Challenge" at the event. The best bowler per lane bowled for a chance to get a Strike. If they did, Sankar would give $20 to the Foundation. Mass Mutual & North Forest Office Providers both matched that challenged and an additional $600 was raised!!!
